Jiangsu Xuzhou Forging Machine Tool Factory Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1951. In 1964, it began mass production of open mechanical presses and was recognized as one of the first designated production enterprises for mechanical presses by the former Ministry of Machinery Industry. In 1988, it was rated as a national second level enterprise. In 1995, it was recognized as a state-owned large-scale industrial enterprise and is a standing director unit of the China Machine Tool Industry Association and the China Forging Association. It is also the vice chairman unit of the Forging Branch of the China Machine Tool Industry Association.

Xu Duan covers an area of 250000 square meters and has a building area of 150000 square meters; Registered capital of 42 million yuan, with assets of 400 million yuan, continuously rated as AAA credit enterprise and Jiangsu Province quality and integrity enterprise for many years; Passed ISO9001 quality system certification in 2001, environmental assurance system and occupational health and safety management system certification in 2005; In 2006, it was recognized as a provincial-level high-tech enterprise; In 2007, it was designated as one of the first innovative pilot enterprises in Jiangsu Province; In 2010, it was designated as a high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Plan; In 2010, we jointly established the Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Academician Workstation with Huazhong University of Science and Technology; Established Jiangsu Province Postdoctoral Research Workstation in 2010; There is a National Forging Machinery Standardization Technical Committee CNC High speed Press Working Group (SAC/TC220/WG1); In 2012, we jointly established the Jiangsu Province Enterprise Graduate Workstation with China University of Mining and Technology; In 2013, a postdoctoral research workstation was established. In 2013, it was identified as a demonstration enterprise for informatization and industrialization in Jiangsu Province. In 2014, it jointly established a Jiangsu Province enterprise graduate workstation with Nanjing Agricultural University; Having self operated export rights, it has been rated as one of the top 500 enterprises in China's machinery industry for consecutive years.

In August 2014, Xuduan Group was restructured into a mixed ownership enterprise controlled by Jiangsu Furen Group. Mr. Yuan Renwei, Chairman of Furen Group, positioned Xuduan Group as an intelligent forging equipment system integrator to promote the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise. In the same year, Xu Duan launched the first domestic production line for multi link servo presses with ultra large stroke and high precision. The forging equipment was specifically developed for the hot forming process of high-strength steel for automobiles, and the technology reached international standards. In October 2016, Xuduan Group fully acquired EBU Forming Technology Co., Ltd. in Germany, marking another important step for Xuduan in the Eurasian punch press market, especially in the fields of servo high-speed presses, multi station presses, and peripheral automation.
